Let’s Go Camping! The Cove Campgrounds in Gore, VA

A little camping, a little riding, and a little cooking over a fire. Join us for a proper weekend in the woods.
We have two large campsites reserved at the The Cove Campgrounds in Gore, VA. We should be able to fit 5-6 tents on each site for a total of 10-12. (If you’re joining us, please “join” this event so we can tell if we need more sites.) Info and prices can be found at http://
No real organized ride to The Cove. Some of us (Kevin and Ikenberry) are riding up on Friday, June 5th and others will be heading up on Saturday. There will be a great group ride from the campsite with Kick Stands Up (KSU) around 1pm on Saturday.
UPDATE: We have two large campsites reserved. That should give us enough room for 10 to 12 tents, maybe more if we pack em in. If you haven’t already, please signify you are going so we know if we need to add another site. The two sites we have now are available Friday and Saturday night. Kevin and I are going up Friday afternoon. Others are coming up Saturday. We will have a group ride up there leaving from the campsites (KSU) at 1pm on Saturday and following roughly the route below. Not sure about Sunday yet. We may try to ride some of the ATV trails for those who want to. Check out the campground website for any specific questions about the facilities.
